Social media is powerful and here to stay! Merri Guggisberg, Youth Service Bureau’s Youth & Family Education Coordinator, will offer a presentation on smartphone use in the workplace, highlighting generational differences and tackling social media norms in the office.
Today’s organizations are comprised of a mix of five generations. Merri will discuss how team members engage with technology and how Baby Boomers view and use smartphones compared to Gen X, Y and Millennials, bringing awareness to these differences. She will also share workplace cellphone etiquette and offer tips that can be applied to family member’s media use.
About the Presenter: Merri Guggisberg joined YSB as their Youth & Family Education Coordinator in 2017. She brings over 10 years of experience working with youth and coordinating parent education sessions. Merri’s leadership, coupled with sponsorships and school partners, enabled YSB’s team to present the screening of the Angst documentary to school district 833 staff, parents and more than 4500 students.
Chamber's Charitable Endeavors Committee will be collecting TI-30XS Multiveiw Scientific Calculators, Gift Cards, and Cash donations for SoWashCo CARES; a local nonprofit organization providing educational supplies, clothing and food to families in South Washington County.
