Description

Safeguarding Your Business: Essential Cyber and
Physical Security Strategies

Speaker Mike Olson, Retired U.S. Secret Service

Today's businesses are under siege—from cyberattacks and insider threats to data breaches, reputational damage, and physical security risks—any one of which can trigger devastating losses. In this presentation, retired U.S. Secret Service Senior Special Agent Mike Olson outlines the key concerns for businesses and offers practical guidance on how to address security and safety issues, through individual efforts and allocating resources.

Discover the latest trends in cyber and physical crimes targeting businesses—and learn how to stop them, prepare when you can’t, and strike back with a solid incident response plan. While no security strategy is foolproof, Mike emphasizes the importance of understanding the "left of boom" and "right of boom" stages in a security incident and applying the right combination of administrative, technical, and physical controls that align with your organization’s needs

About the Speaker: Mike Olson is a retired Senior Special Agent from the U.S. Secret Service. He led the Minnesota Financial and Electronic Crimes Task Force before concluding his distinguished career.
